In addition to the Executive Directors, the current members of Senior Management and their positions are:
Customer Management Director
Murray Harris was appointed as Customer Management Director, GB in January 2009. Bringing with him considerable experience to the position, having been with Britvic for 15 years in a number of roles across Customer Management, most recently as Business Unit Director for Take-Home Grocery.
Supply Chain Director
Martin Rose was appointed as Supply Chain Director in 2003 and is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain, including logistics, technical development, purchasing and production. Martin Rose joined Canada Dry Rawlings in 1984 as a graduate sales trainee and has worked for the Group in respect of sales, operations, distribution and logistics.
Strategy Director
Alan Beaney was appointed Strategy Director in December 2004 and is responsible for Group strategy. Alan Beaney joined the Group as Director of Business Development in 1996 and has since held various positions within the IHG group (of which Britvic ceased to be a part on Admission), including Senior Vice President Global Strategy and Marketing for IHG. Alan Beaney returned to Britvic in 2002 as the Managing Director of Britvic International Limited and at the same time was responsible for Group strategy. Prior to joining the Group, Alan Beaney worked for Arthur D Little.
Human Resources Director
Doug Frost was appointed Human Resources Director in November 2004 and is responsible for the Group’s human resources, including talent management, organisational capability, compensation and benefits. Doug Frost had previously worked for Alliance Unichem and for Mars for 15 years with positions in manufacturing, sales and human resources.
Marketing Director
Simon joined Britvic Soft Drinks from EMAP, where he was Chief Marketing Officer . He began his marketing career with the Coca-Cola Company in Australia and over eight years, operated across brand management, strategic development, based in Sydney and Atlanta and finally Marketing Services for the South Pacific region. Simon then moved to Diageo where he ultimately became Vice President Marketing for the Smirnoff brand.
Managing Director Britvic Ireland
Andrew Richards assumed the role of Managing Director, Britvic Ireland, in March 2009. Andrew joined the Executive Committee in October 2003 in the position of Customer Management Director, where he was responsible for all external aspects of operational customer management. Andrew joined the Group in 1998 as Grocery Trading Director. Prior to this, his commercial career spanned a number of blue chip, FMCG businesses, namely Cadbury, Kraft Jacob Suchard and Walkers Snackfoods.
